Meet Gilly Mulford, executive assistant, Country team
1st October 2016
Gilly – no relation to Middleton’s financial Controller Lucy Mulford – might just have had the perfect experience to work as an executive assistant at Middleton. “Rachel Lambourne said in my interview that the due diligence reports Middleton produce are a bit like forensics, there is so much investigation and digging around for details. So the fact that I actually worked as a casework administrator for a leading forensic company must have been the part of my CV that caught the eye!”
Gilly is also very familiar with the area – another essential for a Middleton executive assistant – having always lived and worked in and around Oxfordshire, including four years managing extra curricular activities at The Manor Preparatory School in Abingdon.
“I like this side of the property business – the buying side. There just doesn’t seem to be a typical day. With three really busy executive assistants to support, you never know what’s coming up next, or which direction your day will take.”
As an enthusiastic motor-cyclist, Gilly is also used to ‘working’ at high-speed, though she insists she’s not the archetypal biker. “I enjoy riding across Europe to watch the MotoGPs and spend time relaxing by reading psychological thrillers.”
