According to The Times an increasing number of buyers are looking at the price and value of houses and taking into account ways in which the property can earn back some income.
Renting out a car parking space during the day. Letting your house out during nearby sporting events or festivals. Offering it as a film location. Creating a farm shop, or a farm equipment rental site. Letting your property for weddings. Converting outhouses into arts and craft markets, or yoga retreats. These are just some of the ways in which The Times says owners can put their property to work.
“More prime property owners are being commercially creative,” commented Middleton’s Mark Crampton in the Times article.
