GB sailing star Eilidh McIntyre MBE will be covering the prime markets of Hampshire & West Sussex for Middleton Advisors, reports Prime Resi.
Prime property agency Middleton Advisors has added an Olympic gold medallist to its line-up in the country.
Great Britain sailing star Eilidh McIntyre MBE has joined the boutique firm’s executive buying team to cover the prime markets of Hampshire and West Sussex.
McIntyre triumphed at the 2020 Olympics, winning a sailing gold medal. Having been a member of the British Sailing Team since the age of 15, she decided not to defend her title at this year’s games and retired from professional sport in February 2023.
She subsequently made the move into property, working with an estate agency in Surrey, and has now joined Middleton to cover her home turf, where she grew up and has always lived. In her new role as a prime property advisor, she will be working closely with Middleton stalwarts, Ben Horne and Mark Crampton.
After a glittering career, McIntyre retired from professional sport last year.

And when you’ve spent your life in professional sailing – dealing with everything the sea, the weather and the competition throw at you – you learn how to quickly adapt to any situation and thrive under pressure.“So, I’m loving the property world, where things can move quickly but you also have to be patient, persistent and committed. There’s a lot of cross-over of skills from elite sport – in particular being focused, diligent and meticulous in my preparation, building relationships and communicating effectively. I’m also very accustomed to utilising the expertise of the team around me, and with the level of experience that Ben, Mark and the Middleton team bring, I feel confident we can meet any challenge.
“I can’t resist a challenge, so I’m currently involved in wing-foiling – a cross between kite-surfing and windsurfing. But on dry land, my focus is all about bringing my winning mentality to Middleton’s clients.”
