Many people assume the main benefit of using a buying advisor is access to off-market property. Is that the case?
Access to off-market opportunities is certainly valuable, but it’s only one part of what we do.
As Edward Sainter, Oxford & Northern Home Counties, explains:
“People often associate property advisors with access to off-market opportunities. While that is valuable, the real value lies in what follows – assessing value objectively, negotiating the right terms and managing the transaction through to completion.”
Buying a property involves much more than identifying the right home. Objective advice, careful due diligence and experienced negotiation all play an important role in achieving the right outcome.
Where do you think a buying advisor adds the greatest value?
Much of our work happens behind the scenes.
We work closely with surveyors, solicitors, architects and planning consultants to identify potential issues early, manage the process efficiently and ensure our clients have the information they need to make confident decisions.
Ultimately, our role is to represent our clients’ interests throughout the transaction, providing independent advice from the initial search through to completion.
