Adam Buxton of Middleton Advisors was quoted in The Times in April, ‘Any of the villages in the triangle between the Cheltenham race course, Northleach and Moreton-in-Marsh are well-placed to take advantage of race days,’ says Adam. ‘Cheltenham racecourse, particularly during the festival, rejuvenates interest in the Cotswolds from purchasers who happen to be down for a spot of racing.’ He says many villages with a good pub, such as The Hollow Bottom in Guiting Power, can become overrun on race days and owners can make good money by renting out their homes during the festival.
