Property heads report a trend among buyers who increasingly value design and aesthetics over square footage, reports CityAM. One of the significant changes is garden space is now less of a priority and buyers are looking to rework a floorplan in order to get the best of property.

We’ve recently been instructed on a stunning one-bed apartment in the heart of Chelsea that due to its previous floorplan, deterred prospective buyers. Once a two-bed, we have redesigned the layout, extending and combining the bedrooms, increasing the entertainment space to include a sitting room, dining table and workspace.”
People are particularly interested in flats and houses where they can carry out minor building work to remodel the house to suit their needs.
