Hollie joined Middleton in November 2023 having spent 13 years as a rural surveyor and sales agent in the farms sector. A qualified Chartered Surveyor, and certified by the Central Associations of Agricultural Valuers, Hollie particularly values the team ethos at Middleton. “Our weekly exec meetings mean that clients benefit from the input and perspective of all of our advisors – and that is really refreshing and positive,” says Hollie.
“Moving from sales to purchasing was a big career decision for me, however, this has given me the opportunity to build much longer-term relationships with clients. Buying a farm or estate is a life-changing decision, and so it’s vital that we provide holistic, independent advice, and the way Middleton operates really allows for that.”
“That collaborative approach, and sharing of information is also key to our ability to access off-market property,” says Hollie. “And that is absolutely vital in this sector. Reaching potential sellers before they market their property is one of Middleton’s real strengths. When a client tells us that, ‘I would never have been able to find this property without Middleton’, it is one of the most satisfying things for a buying advisor to hear.”
Hollie grew up in rural Northamptonshire and then studied Rural Enterprise and Land Management at Harper Adams University in Shropshire, moving to the Cotswolds in 2010 and building on her comprehensive insight and detailed knowledge of the rural sector in the south of England. Her experience encompasses agricultural estate management, environmental schemes, portfolio management and strategic buying and selling advice.
