The prime property agency is expanding & diversifying into the hospitality sector.
Prime property agency Middleton Advisors has strengthened its Estates and Special Projects division with two new hires.
The 15-year-old firm has brought in Rosanna Fishbourne as a consultant and Hollie Byrne as an executive, as it looks to expand its operations and diversify into the hospitality sector.
Fishbourne has 20 years’ experience in luxury hospitality, working with global brands Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, Dorchester Collection and Bulgari Hotels & Resorts. She is also currently enrolled in Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management with the private research university, Cornell, New York. She has joined Middleton in a consultant role, advising on acquisitions of property, specifically for hospitality.
A qualified Chartered Surveyor, Byrne brings more than 13 years’ experience as a rural surveyor and sales agent in the farms sector with Knight Frank, Moore Allen & Innocent and the National Trust. She grew up in rural Northamptonshire and went on to study Rural Enterprise and Land Management at Harper Adams University in Shropshire. Her experience covers agricultural estate management, environmental schemes, portfolio management and strategic buying and selling advice.
The 30-strong firm has been on a growth drive over recent years now has operations in London and the country, advising on buying, selling and managing high-end property.
Founding partner, Tom Hudson: “Our contacts and Rosanna’s expertise in hospitality have combined to broaden the Middleton offering; this is a really interesting development for the business, ensuring that we offer our clients the broadest perspective and possibilities.
“Increasingly clients brief us on broad-based property projects – not simply estate acquisition, but also their long-term potential, capitalisation, management and development. The appointment of Hollie and Rosanna just two years after launching our Estates and Special Projects department, reflects our desire to meet that client demand with a comprehensive range of in-house experience and capacity.”
Rosanna Fishbourne: “I bring a different lens to the table when we are assessing property that will be used for a commercial purpose. I will help our clients picture the day-to-day running of a hospitality operation and how marketable a project might be against current five-star market leaders.”
Hollie Byrne: “Buying a farm or estate is a life-changing decision and so it’s essential to provide holistic, independent, long-term advice. Joining Middleton gives me the opportunity to do just that, while building much longer-term relationships with clients.”
